Dear Parents,
We know how challenging it can be to encourage children to read, especially in a world where screens compete for their attention every second of the day. Many of us at Inkspiring didn’t grow up as “natural readers” either — some of us struggled to focus, felt disconnected from books, or only discovered a love for reading later on. That shared experience is why this space exists. As teenagers ourselves, we understand the pressures your children face today: social media, shortened attention spans, and AI tools that can provide instant answers but can’t replace imagination, empathy, or original thought. Reading builds those things slowly and powerfully: focus, creativity, emotional intelligence, and the ability to think independently — skills that matter more than ever in today’s fast, automated world. Our website is filled with thoughtful reading recommendations designed to help young people find stories that genuinely speak to them, not just ones they’re told they should read. We’re not here to lecture or pressure; we’re here because we understand both sides, and we truly believe that with the right stories, reading can become something children choose, not something they’re forced to do.
Warmly,
The Inkspiring Team

Dear Readers,
Let’s be honest — reading doesn’t always come easily, and it doesn’t always feel fun at first. Maybe you’ve tried books that felt boring, confusing, or just not for you. We get that. We’re teenagers too, and many of us struggled to enjoy reading when we were younger. With social media, videos, games, and AI giving instant answers, why would anyone choose to sit down with a book? But have you ever noticed how a really good story can pull you in and make time disappear? Or how it can help you understand people, emotions, or even yourself a little better? Reading helps you build focus, creativity, and your own way of thinking — things that no algorithm or shortcut can replace. That’s what we believe in at Inkspiring: opening books, opening minds. Inkspiring is here to help you find books that actually match your interests, your mood, and the stage of life you’re in. No pressure, no lectures — just stories worth your time. Who knows? The right book might be closer than you think.
